🇳🇿 NEW ZEALAND
These shots are mostly of Paul's lifestyle block (aka hobby farm) just south of the Waikato towns of Te Awamutu and Cambridge, including some of the lovely young steers raised on the property.
A visit to my daughter Claire in Dunedin, and her husband Grant and "children" Sarah, Heather, Nick and Jorja.
No sooner had I got home from Dunedin than I was on a plane again, this time bound for Hamilton for the very sad occasion of the funeral of dear friend Lawrence Watson. He and Meg, and their children Andrew and Fiona, were neighbours in Harrogate from early 1970, and followed us to New Zealand in 1975.
I took the opportunity to have a brief drive around some of my old haunts in Cambridge and Te Awamutu, and my old hobby farm on Parklands Road, not looking a bit of a mess as a horse agistment property.
Another visit to Hamilton for another funeral, this time Meg Watson, whose death was as sudden as Lawrence's had been protracted.
